Protocol Status: Active Research • UU Protocol Specification v0.1 (2026)
Steward of the UU Protocol
Privacy-first, Neutral, Permissionless Internet Infrastructure
UU is building a new trust primitive for the post-AI world. At its core lies the Human-Origin Layer—an architecture enabling Proof-of-Humanity (POH) and Proof-of-Identity (POI) without storing identity, personal data, biometrics, or long-term records. Trust is established momentarily, cryptographically, and without surveillance.
All protocol mechanisms—including Human-Origin Proofs (HOPs), POH, and POI—are immutable, privacy-preserving, and neutral. The UU Protocol was developed from extensive research conducted between 2018–2025 under LinksUU Technology Solutions LTD (UK), which provided the foundational experimentation and architectural explorations that led to the current storage-free, permissionless trust architecture. UU Protocol itself formally launched as a protocol in 2026.

Recognition of real human participation without identity exposure
Authentication without accounts, databases, or long-term storage
Resistance to AI impersonation, bots, and synthetic identities
Trust-minimized interactions for platforms, protocols, and institutions
Immutable Human-Origin Layer that prevents misuse for data harvesting or behavioral tracking
UU’s conceptual foundations and technical design are documented in three major research outputs published under the UU's Research Log on Substack.

These outputs build directly on the extensive deep-tech research conducted by LinksUU Technology Solutions LTD (UK, 2018–2025), which served as the long-term R&D environment from which UU emerged.

UU is entering a phase of selective external engagement. We welcome conversations with institutions, researchers, and long-term partners who recognize the systemic importance of privacy-first, neutral, and permissionless human-origin infrastructure. Discussions are exploratory and focused on alignment, architecture, and long-term relevance.
